In order to develop Imperial air sense, the Air Ministry has issued Sir Samuel Hoare’s Imperial Conference memorandum oil air communication throughout the world. The memorandum consists of 91 pages, including photographs and maps of existing land proposed air routes. . Sir Samuel points out that the annual mileage of regular air routes of the world was 2 j million in 1925, ten times' what it was in 1919. He outlined the past- development and thepresent position exhaustively, and dealt with meteorological photographs, cartographic surveying, crop protection insect destruction, ambulance and medical duties, the promotion, of fisheries, prevention of smuggling,.use of wireless equipment, construction, of aerodrome sites, and illumination of routes.'
