FRISCO CHURCH BOMBED.

THIRD TIME IN LESS THAN YEAR. SAN FRANCISCO, Oct. 29. For the third time in jess than a •year, the Catholic Church of Saints Peter and Paul, in the North Beach section of the city, was bom bed early in the morning. No one was injured, although the explosion was far more violent than the two previous ones, according to Superior Father Ore ate Trinchieri. The damage will exceed £600.. The bomb, believed by' police to have been composed of tightly-bound sticke of dynamite, was placed in the doorway. of the church, ax on the two previous occasions. The huge nineteen-foot oak doors were splintered by the blast, which tore a hole clear through the entry way to the basement, shattering large slabs of marble and blocks of concrete. Windows in the neighbourhood were broken by the concussion Plaster inside the church was cracked and a number of ornaments were dashed to the floor. Father Ricardo de Martini, newlyordained priest,- was sleeping in a room over the organ loft. He said he was awakened by the blast,- which rocked the church as. though it had been hit by an earthquake. Rushing to the window, 'the priest saw an automobile speeding away. Detectives believe the bomb was set by the same fanatics who twice previously this year have attempted to wreck the church. One theory is that the outrages are the work of a group of anti-Catholie anarchists, known to have existed in the North Beach district for the past 2q years.
