Miss Vera Reader, M.Sc., (N.Z.) Ph.D., A.1.C., is at present visiting Taranaki. This young lady, a distinguished New Zealand student, is engaged in scientific research work at Oxford University, and is enjoying a. brief holiday in her homeland, returning to England early next month. Miss Reader spent last night and to-day in Hawera and will be the guest of Mr. and Mrs. D. Syme, of Eltham, for a few days.
