TANGARAKAU.

(From Our Own Correspondent.) BOY’S BODY FOUND. The body of Mr Duggan \s two-year-old son, who was drowned in the Tangarakau River last Saturday, was found on Wednesday afternoon, about a mile and a half down stream. Parties had been continually searching the river since Saturday, but on account of the swollen and discoloured state of ■ the stream the work had been extremely difficult. ‘However, since Monday, the river has been subsiding and the water becoming clearer enabling a more thorough search to be made. At all times there is a considerable depth of water and, due to the hilly nature of the country, the current is very swift. Numerous snags and fallen tree trunks have made the task of locating the body of the poor little victim extremely diffi.mlt and arduous.
