RIFLE SHOOTING. KEBBELL SHIELD COMPETITION. 'Shooting on the Whareroa range on Saturday afternoon in the Kebbell Shield competition, a team of ten from the Hawera Senior Cadets (No. 15) Company, scored a total of 794 points out of a possible of 900. 'The Kebbell Shield is open for competition among all senior cadets, other than secondary school companies, in the central military command. Three practices were fired: Application, snap-shooting and rapid. Out of a total possible of 90, 25 points were allowed for application. 15 for snapshooting, and 50 for rapid. The detailed scores were as under:
