AUSTRALIAN LABOUR PARTY
EXPRESSES CONFIDENCE IN MR, LANG. BY CABLE —PREBB ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT. Received l 1.5 p.m to-day. SYDNEY, Nov. 13. The Australian Labour Party earned by 274 to 4 votes, a motion that the ocnference had complete confidence in the Hon. J. T. Lang as leader, and confirmed him in the leadership of the Parliamentary Labour Party . for tne period of the. present Parliament; further, that as union is essential to the successful carrying of the platform and policy of the Labour Party, the Premiei he authorised, in the event of circumstances arising which, in his opinion, might imperil that unity, to do all things and exercise such powers as he deems necessary in the interests of the party.
