NEW PACIFIC CABLE.
LAYING MIDDLE SECTION. BY CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT. Received 12.50 p.m. to-day. SYDNEY, Nov. 3. The Pacific Cable Board is advised that the cable ship Faraday is now at Fanning Island and ihas laid the shore end of the Fanning Island-Suva cable, and has commenced paying out on the two thousand mile stretch to Suva.
