NATIVES BECOMING CIVILISED. BY CABLE-PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT. Received 1.20 p.m. to-day. SYDNEY, Nov. 2. A report made by the Governor of Papua -shows that the natives are steadily adopting-habits of civilisation. Numbers have -started banking accounts, while others are engaged in planting on their own behalf. One became -the purveyor of firewood, using a, small motor lorry. Some coastal natives have taken clearing contracts.
