RATEPAYERS SEEK INJUNCTION. (BY TELEGRAPH—PIIESS ASSOCIATION.) WELLINGTON, Nov. 1. His Honour, Mr Justice Reed, is occupied in the Supreme Court to-day hearing legal argument in an application by certain ratepayers to have an interim injunction against the corporation proceeding with the work of improvement to Kent Terrace made absolute. Plaintiff’s case is that the reserve cannot be interfered with. The council claims the right to include any part as a street: also the right to cut clown any trees it likes. The ease has not yet been concluded.
