Darragh, late of Kaponga and Stratford, notifies the .public of Patea and surrounding district that she has taken over the business of hairdresser' and tobacconist lately occupied by Mr J. Fraser. Mrs Darragh hopes to be allowed to give residents the benefit of -her experience in the business, and solicits a fair share of the local patronage. J. O. Smith draws final attention to the sale of furniture, poulti-y, and sundry tools, which he will -hold at the mart to-morrow (Thursday) on account of Mr. Coad. The sale will commence at 1.30 p.m sharp. In this issue tenders are invited by the Hawera Borough Council for leases of parcels of land, particulars of which are" to be found on page one.
