HASTINGS TRAINING NOTES. (.BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION..) HASTINGS, Sept. 30. The weather was fine for training operations this morning, and a fair amount of fast work was done. Hynnanna and De Luxe went once round on the plough in 1.45, finishing together. Nine of Spades and Loveband did six furlongs in 1.18, the last five taking 1.3 1-5. Nine of Spades finished best. Hymi',l and Lady Orby did) five, on the course proper in 1.4, Hymill finishing in front. Commendation trotted on the .plough, looking light after the trip. Serene covered six furlongs on the plough in 1.17, going well. Mint Julep and Boy Blue went half a mile in 51$, and Bennanee and Wristlet did the same distance in 51 3-5, finishing together.

Polya,stra and Essential went twice round on the plough at three-quarter pace. Automne also went twice round on the plough, the last four taking 53secs.

Handy worked well over half a mile in 53seCs.. Record Mixture taking 51 secs.

Perle de Leon and Hakuwai covered six furlongs in 1.20, the last four taking- 1.5. Whititaua. Perl de Rouge and Ahalama covered five in 1.4.

Mount C\yde (Holman) and Peneus (McDonald) went once round over the hurdles, giving a good display. Theio did five in 1.65. Stronghold did the same distance in 1.4 4-5. Hinekapua and Heather were together over five furlongs, run in 1.7. Polar and Coot did six furlongs in 1.18. ‘ Humourist (Anderson) and Lombardo (Ho’man) did once round over four hurdles in 1 45.
