TENNIS AND CROQUET CLUB.
A GOOD SHOP DA,Y. CAMPBELL OU-P COMPETITIONe. The ladies of the Hawera Tennis and Croquet Club -had a most satisfactory result for tlieir shop day on -Saturday and ia.re .naturally more -than pleased. The winners of competitions, were : Set of Lingerie, Mr,s T. Campbell; cushion. Miss Power; 'box of sweets, Miss Piaine and Mr, Suisted, equal; cake, Mrs. .Watty. It has been decided to hold the first annual meeting in connection, with the Campbell Oup, competitions on Thursday next at the lawns at 2 p-.m. A Cordial given to -all croquet players to be present.
