VISIT TO BLENHEIM. (BY TELEGRAPH PRESS ASSOCIATION.) BLENHEIM, Sept. 22. The Governor-General and) Lady Alice Ferguisson motored from Picton to Blenheim this morning, and were met oni the out-skiirts by the Pip© Band and played to the Square, where the Mayor and' chairman of the County Council officially welcomed- His Excellency to the district. The Vice-Regal -party was entertained at luncheon, -and afterwards inspected various points of interest. Tonight a public welcome will be aecordred them, and there will he a-reception at the- Town- Hall. A further round of festivities- has been arranged for tomorrow, Friday and Saturday.
