IOWA FLOODS.
ESTIMATE OF DAMAGE.
BY CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION-COPYRIGHT. Received 1 p.m. to-day. NEW YORK, Sept. 20. Sioux City advises that flood waters had receded to-day in north-western lowa, leaving damage estimated at five million dollars. Farmers have suffered huge crop and property losses, and the railways have also suffered approximately to the extent of two million dollars Twenty-five deaths are reported, hut they are generally not confirmed.
