ON EVE! OF CONFERENCE.
Received 1.15 p.m. to-day. LOMDON, Sept. 17. The Daily News -reveals that all arrangements were made for an Anglo-Franco-Spanish conference in Paris on August 11 to discuss Tagier and says: “.Spain made a false move in signing the Ita-10-Spanish lagreement on August 10 ancl the conference was called oft. Spain insisted on linking up her Tagier claim, with, her claim l for a permanent ”’yfeeat at Geneva. Italy did not befriend ■Spain at Geneva, and is less likely to take up Tangier. The British view is unchanged. Britain is willing to readjust Spain’s sphere of influence, _ hut Tangier must not fall to any single p Qwer. ’
