LITTLE BOV BLUE.
Little Boy Blue - would arise before
dawn, Go down the gullies blowing his horn, Qalling the fairies and goblins, too, To conic out and dance for Little Bov
Blue. So from every flower and every tree Came fairies and goblins, happy and
free, Clasping hands and forming a ring, The fairies would dance and the goblins would sing.
And when they had danced the Fairies would ask Of Little Boy Blue to set them a task, For they loved to visit the sick and the poor, Bringing Sunshine and gladness to the sufferers’ door. And when .to each fairy a task had been given, The goblins would come, and tell how they’d striven To frighten the bad boys, all through, the night, In hopes that to-morrow they would try to do right. And when all the fairies and goblins had flown. Little Boy Blue would return to his , home, Knowing the fairies and goblins would Each do their task, as well as they
could. And soon lie forgot to blow his horn, And allowed the cows to eat the' corn. He forgot the cows, he forgot the sheep, But don’t judge him harshly for going to sleep.
