LICENSING COMMITTEE

QUARTERLY AND ADJOURNED ANNUAL MEETINGS.

The adtjourneft annual meeting of the Egmont Licensing Committee was held to-dav in conjunction with the usual quarterly meeting. Messrs J. S. Barton, E. A. Pncey and J. Gray were on the bench. The transfer of the license for the Commercial Hotel from E. J. Nash to Thomas Irwin Tiller was granted.

. The., suspended applications for renewals of the licenses of the Commercial Hotel, Hanvera, pending renovation, and of the Clarendon and Commercial Hotels at Waverley, pending the erection of fencing, .were granted. Confirmation was given to the issue of a license of the Railway Hotel, Hawera ,to Kevin Patrick Mlahoney, in place of the license held previously by his wife.
