(liV TIiHiOKAFH —F.EEBS ASSOCIATION.) HAMILTON, Aug. 28. The third match for the Brown Shield resulted in South Auckland retaining the trophy, when it beat Wanganui by 2 to 1. The game was played in intermittent showers. The teams were evenly matched. Hunter, the Auckland goalie, did excellent work. Play in the first half was not exciting, but warmed up considerably in the second spell.
