On the Feilding side, Ball (captain) was the brains of the team. This boy, rather weak in defence, is a. wonderfully successful' attacking player. He is a

‘ ‘ heady ’ * footbaler. Gibbs and Bridge wore useful throughout. The forwards showed signs of disorganisation at times, but individually Avorked very hard. To this Avriter, Farmer appeared to work the hardest. Others may have a different opinion.
