PARKING ON HILLSIDES.
Leaving the ear in gear when parking on a hill is not sufficient, protection against- having it coast away. Low compression in the' cylinders will allow the weight of the car to turn over the engine. It. may be some time before the compression pressure leaks away. Always use the hand brake, and do not fail to point the wheels in towards the “safe” side.
