BOWLING.
OPUNAKE CLUB’S ANNUAL AIEETING.
At the annual general, meeting of the Opunake Bowling Club the balancesheet, which showed’ that the. club was in, a sound condition financially, was adopted without dissent (says the Ti mes).
The election of office-bearers for the ensuing year resulted as under: President, ATr AA 7 . E. Gun son; vice-presi-dents , Messrs Sinclair and Hindi; committee, Afessrs Wilson, Burton, Hammond, AYi'Hiams and Feaver; green warden, ATr C. A. Smith (unopposed) ; selector, ATr G. Hammond (unopposed); secretai’y-treasurer, ATr J. Harrigan. A motion that the namd of all members financial at December 31 be posted in the pavilion was adopted unanimously. ATr J. ATorran presented four buttons to the club for rinks competition.
