INJURIES END FATALLY. (by TELEGRAPH PRESS ASSOCIATION.) GR EYEMOUTH. Aug. 26 George Olayton, who was kicked by a horse at Inehbonnie on Sunday and admitted to the Grey Hospital, died this morning. He- was 20 years of age and was a native of Tasmania. BURGLARS AT WELLINGTON. WELLINGTON, Aug. 26. '"A gang of burglars is at work in the city, Operating with gloves and in at least one instance with a motor car. Some ten robberies have occurred in the last few days and as much as LHJU worth of goods were lifted from one shop. OPPOSITION TO* TOWN-PLAN-NING BILL. DUNEDIN, Aug. 26. The Dunedin City Council passed a resolution protesting against the hasty wav in which the Town Planning Bid has been put through the Lower House, and urodnof on the Upper House that the BilT be held over till next session, to permit it being considered at the next meeting of the Municipal Association. DIED IN HIS CHAIR. MARION, Aug. 26. Charles Davis (82) was found dead in a. chair in' hi® residence' at Silverhope. Fie had few friends and lived alone. The day before lie was seen in good health. A verdict of death fiom natural muses was returned. AN INDIAN’S DEATH. HAMILTON, Aug. 26. An Indian, Sun da Singli, a labourer, 30 years of, age. who arrived from To Awemutu last evening, was found dead at the residence of an Indian friend at Frankton this morning. Singh was in indifferent health and was on Ins way to the Waikato Hosoitai when the fatal illness overtook Irm.
