HA WEIR A MEN’S CLUB. THE CHAMPIONSHIPS. Further matches have been played, bringing the seniors to the semi-finals. The juniors, however, are somewhat delayed, owing to one or two in the first round having been absent from, town. Results were as follow: —Beechey beat Glasson, J. Quin beat' Porritt, Little beat Duff ill, Sutton beat Elliott (1 up). First round—Bright beat Sellar, Blair l>eat Brum well. Blundell v. Hart has yet to be played. Second round.—Bright beat Gibliu.
