ROTARY.
ANNUAL CONVENTION. The eighteenth .annual convention of Rotary International will be held at Ostend. Belgium, from June sth to 10th, 1927. The clubs throughout the world l have been furnished with information indicating that the central authorities have taken comprehensive steps to make the convention a success. No less than; six ocean liners have been specially engaged to convey members from America, to Europe and back. These will provide accommodation for 3360 persons. Data lias been furnished (regarding the accommodation available, and the tariffs obtaining, in Belgium.
Members of the official tours are assured of congenial companions, And; will have the opportunity of fraternising with fel’ow-Rotairians, not only en route, but also in various cities 'which may be visited, and _ where special programmes of entertainment And receptions will be arranged for them, _ Touts will be planned in accordance with! the escorted method of travel, which, is recognised as being the most efficient and practical means of seeing Europe.
