MOKOIA FARMER. SUSTAINS FRACTURED SHOULDER (From Our Own, Correspondent.) A rather unfortunate accident befel Mr Rodgers, farmer, Mokoia, while feeding ensilage to his herd yesterday. Mr Rodgers had just finished loading his dray at the ensilage stack and was about to step on to his load, when the horse moved forward, and Mr Rodgers fell to the ground. As a result, he received a fractured shoulder, two broken ribs and a. cur on the head. Mr H. Legge, a neighbour, was summoned and' endeavoured to get Mr Rodgers in to the hospital by car, but the injured man could not bear the strain, and he was taken to his home instead. Dr Buist was called and attended to the injuries. Mr Rodgers, who is wdll advanced in years, recently recovered from a. rather severe bout of influenza.
