REPORTS TO SUPPLIERS.
BY CO-OPERATIVE CONCERNS SELECT COMMITTEE’S PROPOSAL. (By Telegraph.—Special to Star). WELLINGTON, Aug. 18. The only amendment made by. the Agricultural and Pastoral Committee in the Dairy Industry Bill is in connection with the clause under which dairy companies must not describe themselves as co-operative unless they are actuary so. The committee, has provided that after April, 1927, the Registrar of Companies may take action to secure the proper title of any dairy company. A new clause also provides that after April 1, 1927. it shall be the duty of everv co-operative company registered undeir Part 3 of the principal Act. and every company describing itself as co-operative until it has changed its name, to furnish to every person (not •being' a shareholder) who supplies the company with milk or cream, a copy of every account,, report end balance-sheet which it is required' to furnish to its shareholders.
