Wanganui led by 13 points to 3 at half-time. Te Ante had the wind and >sun in the second spell, gaining the lead within five minutes of time, the score being : Te Ante 25 Wanganui 21 The game was spectacular and exciting throughout, both sets of backs playing brilliant Rugby. The scorers for the winners were Davis, Green (2), Chesley, Hakaraia, Hamiora. and Haig, Potaka converting two. For Wanganui, Brown, Tilley (2), and Burrell scored. Thakakau converted three trie® and kicked a penalty goal. A WEST COAST GAME. WESTPORT, Aug. 16. In an interesting Rugby match today Christchurch Technical High School defeated: Westport Technical High School by 14 points' to 5. SARGENT CUP. TO-MORROW’S GAME.

A reminder is given to all interested in school Rugby football of the match to he pla.yed to-morrow afternoon: iat 3 o’eiock at the Show Ground between Hawcra, and Stratford! High Schools.
