IRON PACT.
INTERNATIONAL TRADE CARTEL BRITAIN STANDS OUT. LONDON, July 29. The iron pact, which will be signed on August 12, includes. Germany, France, Belgium, Luxemburg- and the S*ar, but not Britain, owing to the difficulties in regard 1 to the- latter supplying its quota and its reluctance to enter into 1 'international trade cartels.
'Continental steel producers _ are not perturbed, not regarding British steel as a serious rival. The pact entails an eventual increase, of 30 per cent, in prices. The German Press is exultant over the creation of the. pact. —Sydney Sun Cable.
