Edward Creed, manager of "a Ba.yswater provision shop, was found dead with terrible injuries to his head. The safe had been, rifled of £SO. The only ehi«as were finger prints due t-o the murderer wearing: chamois leather gloves with a hole in the tip of one finger, and a fellow-glove, which had been .left beside the safe.
