A rUR Pill’—Ma (RET 11. At Bt. Joseph’s Cluirc-li, Tlawera, on Wednesday, June. .1(3, Miss Annie 'Charlotte Louisa, eldest, daughter of Af-v and Airs E. J. Ala.eßetli, of Norm ail by, was l married to Air Joseph Roger Murphy, of Alatafo'a, son, of tlie late Air and Airs l Murphy of Westport. The Rev. Alonsignor Power officiated. Tlie bride, who was given away by her father, was dressed 1 in a frock of white crepe do chine with, radium overlace tunic and wore a. handsome veil of embroidered tulle with, a coronet of tulle orange blossoms. She carried a shower boucpiet of white chrysanthemums and freesias with maidenhair fern. Miss Molly Afacßeth, sister of the bride, and, Miss, Rita. Afacßeth, cousin, attended as bridesmaids. The former wore a pink crepe do chine frock trimmed with silver lace, and carried a bouquet of pink chrysanthemums, pink freesias and maidenhair fern. Afiss Afacßeth wore a pale green crepe do chine frock trimmed with, silver lace, and carried a bouquet of lemon chrysanthemums., freesias and, maidenhair fern. Afiss Jean Murphy, niece of the bridegroom, a mil Thelma Cranny friend of the bride, acted as llower girls. One wore a dress of apricot, and tlie other a dress of lavender crepe, do chine, and both carried freesias to match. Air Peter Murpliy, brother of tlie bridegroom, acted as best man, and Air Clarence Afacßeth carried out the duties of groomsman. After the ceremony, a. reception was held in the Town Hall, where many guests assembled. Afterwards the happy couple left, for Westport. The bride travelled in a smart navy blue coat frock trimmed with' cinnamon and wearing hat to match. The bridegroom’s' present to the bride, whs a. gold wristlet watch., and the bride’s to the bridegroom was a cigarette holder.
