RAIN CONTINUES. EXTENSIVE DAMAGE IN. COUNTRY DISTRICTS BY CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT PERTH, July 21. Rain continues, and there are prospects of a heavy gale, while reports from the countryside indicate phenomenal floods and extensive damage. The first fatality so far reported is the death of Mrs Barrington, of Cottesloo, who stepped on a. live wire blown down by the ga.le and was electrocuted. All country train services are still suspended, and the trans-continental service lias also been cancelled; until the weather conditions l improve.
