The Comonwcalth Council of the Eecl. erated Unions has agreed to support the proposals whereby the Federal Government proposes to submit to a referendum proposed alterations of the Constituion in regard to industry and commerce. The Australian. "Workers’ Union has taken the lead in the anti-referendum campaign and has prepared voluminous pamphlets which are being distributed. UNION WITH COMAIUNISTS. SYDNEY, June 27. A conference of the New South Wales executive of the Australian Labour Party and leaders of the Communist Party, which have lately been opposing camps, have decided to unite in an organised campaign against the Government’s referenda proposals.
