It is understood that the Agricultural and Pastoral Workers’ Association has decided to promote a Bill for this session of Parliament for the purpose of giving farm workers a compulsory weekly half-holiday. It is alleged that at the present time farm workers have no time in ■which to play games or to enjoy recreation of any kind except on Sunday.
