HALF-YEARLY MEETING OF LODGE 16. There was a large atendance at the half-yearly meting of U.A.0.D., No. 16 held in the Foresters’ Hall last evening. Bro. D. P. Adams performed the installation ceremony of officers elected as follows: —A.D.,' Bro. E. Hawkins; Y.A.D., Bio. J. Woolhams; treasurer, Bro. G. Brough ; minutes .secretary, Bro. S. Ingham; 1.G., Bro. C. M. Bailey: 0.G., Bro. K. L. M Caw&ey; A.J>. B’s.. Bros. A. Bw.ington and O. B. Kidson; V.A.B’s., Bros. E. Taylor and L. .J. Linton. There had been an increase of 30 members in the past term, and a satisfactorv state of affairs was revealed by the auditors’ report. Votes of thanks were passed to D.P. Bro. Adams for the capable manner in which lie performed the installation ceremony, and to the secretary, Bro. W. Harvey. * A vote of sympathy was passed to Bro. J. J, Goodwin in his recent bereavement. The evening concluded with toasts, refreshments and musical items. “The King of the Druids” was proposed by D.P. Bio. W. Adams, and 1 responded to by P.D. Bro. D. Kerri sk; "The Grand Lodge,’’ proposed bv P. D. Bro. Kerrisk. responded to by D.P. Bro. Adams; ‘The Newly-installed Officers,” proposed bv P.D.P. Bro. Steer, and responded to by the various officers; “The Musicians,” proposed by Bro. W. Harvey and responded to by Bro. Patterson and Bro. G. Dive. The nrogramme was contributed by Bros. G. Dive, 0. L. Kidson, C. Clements. Patterson, W. Haiwey and W. Adams.
