PIHAMA.
(From Our Own Correspondent.) SCHOOL~FOOTBALL. On Saturday the Opunake hoys played Pihama at Pihama and won easily by 41 points to s'. The visiting team was much too heavy for the local boys, who played pluckily during the first spell, but went to pieces in the second and allowed the visitors to do pretty well as they pleased. A social is to be held on Wednesday in the local hall for the purpose of presenting the Egmont Country Schools Sports Cup to the Pihama School, who won it at the annual sports gathering in March.
