PALMERSTON NORTH SHOW.
Next week will see tlie opening- of this big' exhibition on the show grounds, Cuba Street. Palmerston N., and there is every indication that this year’s show will 1 excel its numerous predecessors from every viewpoint. All - the exhibition space in the halls hlas been booked: up for weeks back, and the stall-holders are now all busy erecting stands and arranging their 'wares to catch the eyes of likely i>urchasers. The exhibitors in the competitive sections are arriving with their exhibits, and the show grounds and buildings at the present time are ini hive of activity. Side show applications are also out of the ordinary, and there' need be no dull moments, for the ordinary visitor. The committee, in co-operation with, the Mama.watu Rugby Union, is providing a splendid programme of football during the show,, and for Friday, the ISth, a special display of horse and pony competitions has been arranged. With everything running smoothly, there can only be on result, and that is a highly successful. show.
