In connection with the recent shop day of: the Hawera Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club, the correct weightof the croose was 81b 2oz. Mrs. H. TV . Sutton and Mr. J. J. Buckrell each guessed the correct weight, and the prize was divided between them, each getting half. The correct weight of the cake was 41b 9foz. Mr. J, J. Buckrell’s guess was nearest, 41b 9loz. The number of tacks in the bottle was 343. Miss Myra Morrissey’s guess was nearest (314), and ns a prize she received the lucky bag. Buses .are being (run in Wellington, the usual fares being 'charged.
