MODERN GIRLS’ DRESS.
APROVED BY MEDICAL MEN
BY CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT. LONDON, Juno 1. A school medical officer in London boldly supports the modern girls’ dress. He warmly praises the disappearance of corsets and garters, and points out that the health of the girls has been immeasurably improved thereby. A Harley Street specialist says that the short skirt and short hair are the greatest boon to womanhood. Headaches are practically non-existent among shingled women. When they cut their dresses short woman added five years to their lives, and when they reduced the amount of clothing, they added: another five. iVT-eii could do the same if they abolished collars and ties.
