TARANAKI - WANGANUI SHIELD COMPETITION. Five entries were received for this competition, which is to be held at Wanganui to-morrow. Stratford, Bltham, Hawera and Wanganui (2) are the competing teams. The tournament will take the form of a knock-out competition, and a real good, hard tussle is expected. After the game a. tea and social evening is to be held in honour of the visiting teams.
