RUGBY LEAGUE.

MEMBER ASKED TO RESIGN. (BY TELEGRAPH PRESS ASSOCIATION.) CHRISTCHURCH, April 27. In an interview this morning, Mr W. S. Moyle said that the council of the New Zealand Rugby League had, by 19 votes to two, asked him to resign. However, he had replied that he would not resign unless he was requested to do so by the Canterbury League. The trouble, in his opinion, had arisen over the demand made hv one of the guarantors of Monica Park that Mr Moyle should not continue in office.
