SHIPPING HOLD-UP.
CANOPUS AND CUOLANA STILL IDLE. (by TELEGRAPH, PRESS ASSOCIATION.) CHRISTCHURCH, .April 27. As expected, the watersiders again refused to work the Canopus and the Ccolana this morning. Surprise was caused, however, by a call for labour for the Tugela, which is under charter and outside the jurisdiction of the Employers’ Federation. Fifty-six hands were engaged.
