OUTBREAK AT BRISBANE. SEVERAL PEOPLE SLIGHTLY HURT. BY CABLE —PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT. Received 12.40 p.m. to-day. BRISBANE, April 19. One of the most disastrous fires in the history of Queensland occurred at Ipswich Road, when the State joinery works, and the sawmills of Hancock and Gore were destroyed. The damage to the joinery works was estimated at £IOO,OOO arid to Hancock’s £20,000.' Flying sheets of corrugated iron caused minor injuries to twenty persons. One fireman was trapped by flames on a bridge twenty-five feet from the ground. He jumped and was stunned, but was only slightly hurt. During the week-end a block- of buildings was destroyed and damage to the extent of £IO,OOO done at Cooroy. Six buildings were burned and were valued at £3000.. . ,
