NEW VESSELS.
FUR LONDON—NEW ZEALAND TRADE. (BY TELEGRAPH PRESS ASSOCIATION.) WELLINGTON, April 19. The New Zealand office of the Shaw, Savill Company has received advice from London that contracts for two motor vessels have been placed with builders. The vessels will have fourscrew Sulzer engines o£ 17,000 brake-horse-power and a speed of 17 knots. There will be accommodation for 240 first-class and 700 third-class passengers. It is anticipated that the steamers will be completed at the of 1.927- They are intended for the New Zealand trade. V-With reference to the arrangements the Aberdeen-White Star e?s Sophocles and Diogenes for the New Zealand trade, the first, which has been named Tamaroa, sails from England in September next. The second has been, re-named Mataroa, and sails from England in November next. Both are being converted to oil burners arid are considered to be a great acquisition to the New Zealand-London pasesnger trade. \
