WATERSIDERS’ DISPUTE.
OVER PAYMENT FOR WORKING COAL.
(BY TELEGRAPH. PRESS ASSOCIATION.) CHRISTCHURCH, April 16. Waterside rs refused to discharge coal from the Canopus at Lyttelton this morning. It is understood that this is in retaliation against the employers’ refusal to grant an extra l|d per hour that have been given at other ports. Developments are expected.
