QUEEN CANDIDATES’ PROGRESS. increased interest ill the bowling carnival present under way in Kaponga is evident. Flags are being shown over -the Bon Marche. At first the Green (Irish candidate) topped the po’ie, followed by the Tartan, and the Blue (English) at the bottom. A lew days later the Tartan flaunted its colours at the top, and much .rejoicing was evident “atnang the Scots.” On, Monday behold the Bluer Ensign was hoisted a.s evidence thiat the old bulldog breed had got a mov4 on.
