AMUNDSEN’S AIRSHIP
NURGE READY TO START.

Colonel Nobile, pilot of Captain Amundsen’s airship Norge, was greatly perturbed at the action of the authorities in seizing his mascot fox terrier immediately it was landed, owing to quarantine" requirements. There was a possibility that it would have to be destroyed, hut arrangements were subsequently made to keep it in quarantine until the Norge’s depart, ure. . “He is coming with us to the North Pole,” said Colonel Nobile. “He is my faithful companion, and I would not be bappy without him.” The Norge is awaiting favourable weather to start for Oslo. Her departure will most likely be made on Tuesday.
