FLOODS AT BAGHDAD
A SLIGHT IMPROVEMENT. RIVER LEVEL PALLING. DAMAGE VERY EXTENSIVE. BY CABLE— ASSOCIATION —COPY BTC HT. Received 10.10 a.m. to-day. BAGHDAD, April 13. There is a slight improvement in the flood situation. The river is falling slightly, but the desert flood level 1 is stationary. The ladies of the family have departed for the King’s estate one hundred m|jles north of Baghdad. King Faisal is temporarily living in the house of a Jewish••merchant at Baghdad. The damage, by the floods will probably amount to two millions sterling.—Reuter.
