It has been definitely established that the President, Tuan Chi Jui, is taking refuge in business premises in the legation quarter. \He took the seal of office and sent out a warning that he would not be responsible for any mandates issued during his absence. —Reuter.
AN AEROPLANE ATTACK. TO DEMOLISH RAILWAY STATION. A FEW CASUALTIES. PEKING, April 13. Four Chinese were killed and nine injured by five bombs dropped by an Allied aeroplane attempting to demolish the railway station.
