BURIED |N BASKETS. FOUND IN NY AS ALAND ALSO PREHISTORIC FLINTS. BY CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT.. Received 10.10 a.m. to-day. CAIRO, April 6. Miss Clayton, of Thompson’s Archaeological Expedition to Northern Fayum, discovered at Chindi, Nyasaland', in a depression a few miles from the mpdern cultivated zone, 20 N buried baskets made of wheat stalks containing wheat blackened with age. There were also found a wooden sickle with three flints, which were proved to belong to the Libyan flint age, 5000 years 8.C., and 2000 years earlier than previous discoveries.—Sydney Sun Cable. «'
