A WORLD’S CHAMPIONSHIP DECIDED. (IIY TKI.KOUAPn PRESS ASfIOCIATION.) BLENHEIM, April 5. At Havelock to-day, D. M. St raker and \Y. Seymour, both of Havelock, won the world’s championship 24-inoh double-handed sawing event m 27 3-5 secs. The Neilson Bros., of Twill ape, were second with 29 2-5 sees., and A. Murrell and A. E. Olliver, of Austrain . third. Pukatea logs were used. (>. Mortimer, of Wai.rau Valley, -won th e £IOO 15-inch standing chop, while the L'oO underhand 15-inch chop was won bv 1). M St raker in 60 1-5 secs.
